Therapy or coaching can feel like a huge investment – especially when you’ve got a family to take care of and a budget to stick to.

I get it – but when you invest in your own health and mental wellbeing, everyone wins.

My goal isn’t to work with you forever, but to work alongside you to build confidence and offer tools and strategies to get you on your way.

I don’t overload my schedule...

because I want to be present for all my clients and available for anything that pops up in between sessions. I want you to know that when you commit to therapy or coaching, I’ll commit to you and to helping you achieve your goals (it’s that simple).

To gain a deeper understanding about the work we can do together,

Check out either my coaching for moms or therapy for moms service.

Many of my clients stick with me long term, but we can accomplish a lot together in just a few short months.

Together, we will:

Session rates:

For individuals

Initial consultation: FREE (book now)

Initial 60 minute intake session: USD 250

Standard 50 minute individual therapy session: USD 225

Payments

I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. I also accept payment directly on my site, so you can book now to secure your next session.

Cancellation Policy

If you can’t attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand and we can reschedule your appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session.

Insurance

If you would like to use insurance, you may seek out-of-network benefits for our sessions together. Out-of-network benefits are usually quite easy to navigate.

If you will be using your insurance on an out-of-network basis,

sessions will be charged directly to you at the time of our appointment.

I can electronically send the out-of-network claims on your behalf

And then your insurance company may reimburse you directly for some portion of the cost based on coverage that your plan may have for therapy on an out-of-network basis.

When we talk, I am more than happy to help you understand and navigate the out-of-network benefits process however I can! So that you can be equipped with more information about your particular plan, I also encourage you to call your insurance directly to ask about your out-of-network benefits for therapy. It may be helpful for us to chat first before you call, so please don’t hesitate to contact me as a first step!

Questions to ask your insurance provider

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services provided via telehealth?
  • What is my yearly deductible? Has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my insurance plan reimburse for an out-of-network provider for CPT codes 90791, 90837 and 90847?
  • Do I need approval from my PCP?

What are my options if I can’t afford therapy?

If finances are an obstacle, there are other avenues you can explore to get the support you need from Managing Motherhood, such as:

  • If you have a Flexible Spending or Health Savings account you may be able to pay with pre-tax dollars. Just make sure you check with your financial institution to make sure it’s available
  • Check to see if your partner’s health care plan has an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Often these programs are accessible for up to 8 sessions (and can include couples counselling), covered by the employer
  • Speak to your tax professional to see if you can claim therapy as an out-of-pocket health expense.

Both therapy and coaching are a long term investment

If you’re still on the fence about investing in yourself, I want you to know that you’re worth it. While you may not experience changes in our first session, my work is designed to help you grow over time – and the benefits far outweigh the risks.

If you still have lingering questions, make sure you explore our FAQs, then if there’s something else you need to ask, get in touch.

Are you absolutely loving motherhood or just tolerating it?

I know you’re exhausted. Help has arrived.

Motherhood is a challenging (understatement of the year) gig and most women don’t receive enough support. My aim is to provide a safe space for women like you to talk about the dark and dirty aspects of being a mom, while also giving you the space to learn skills and empower you every step of the way.

Investing in therapy or coaching might feel like a selfish thing to do – but trust me, when you’re feeling healthy and empowered, your partner and kids will too. You are, after all, the heart and soul of your family and you can’t pour from an empty cup, so I invite you to join me on a journey towards more love – for your kids, for your family and, ultimately, for yourself (and I’ll be here for you, every step of the way).
