Rhetya Kelly-Thompson, LGPC

As a therapist with Managing Motherhood Psychotherapy, I’m dedicated to supporting the mental health of children and teens. I bring to the table years of valuable experience working with young people in public schools, and I’m excited to extend this expertise to individual therapy in a more personal setting.

Being a wife, mother, and stepmother, I truly get the family dynamic from multiple angles. The challenges, the milestones, and the everyday moments in between – I live them, too. This personal connection drives my passion for helping kids and teens articulate their emotions, develop their strengths, and navigate the often tricky path of growing up.

At Managing Motherhood, I focus on helping young individuals and their families. I provide a space where they can feel heard and understood, a place to tackle their concerns head-on, with warmth and understanding. For parents, I’m here not just as a therapist, but as a partner in your child’s mental health journey, offering the support and insights you need to guide them through life’s ups and downs.

If your family is looking for guidance, or if your child or teen needs a place to turn, I’m here to offer the professional support and the heartfelt understanding that can make all the difference. Let’s work together to build resilience and joy for your children as they grow.
