Are you having trouble helping your little ones gain control of their BIG emotions?
My role as a parent coach is to help you gain insight into what might be causing your child’s intense emotions and explosive behaviors. Through family-centered and solution-focused coaching sessions, I’ll show you ways to manage stressful moments quickly and calmly.
Love your child, but having difficulty liking them right now?
I too, know the challenge of being a parent – I get it.
Despite being a loving and dedicated parent who commits themselves to doing whatever it takes to raise happy and confident children, you still sometimes find yourself in scenarios where you feel embarrassed. You yell and feel frustration way more than you’d like to. I know you want to do what’s best for your children, but maybe you’re feeling burned out and have no clue what technique to try next.
You’ve done everything you’re “supposed” to do to support and discipline your children in an effective manner, but you still find your kids having a hard time in certain situations. I can teach you the skills to:
Wouldn’t it feel amazing to see your child thrive?
Raising children isn’t easy, but it sure is rewarding!
Picture this: you’re out in public or with family and friends – then your child has a massive meltdown. This time, instead of feeling embarrassed or getting angry, you calmly and quickly diffuse the situation and give your child the right support to work through what they’re feeling.
That’s the side effect of my parent coaching. It can give you the confidence to help regulate your child’s emotions in a healthy way and allow you the space you need to build valuable life skills as a parent.
Parenting doesn’t come with a handbook- it comes with several handbooks, each one saying they know the “right way” to parent. I know that you are the expert on your child and family. My focus is to work with you to find and understand the root cause of your child’s troubling behaviors. The goal is to find a solution that works for both you and your child.
Our communication dictates so much when it comes to our child’s behavior. Ever told a toddler not to do something, only to have them immediately do it? I will teach you how to communicate with your child in a way that is developmentally appropriate, improves the relationship and encourages your child to actually listen.
Discipline doesn’t have to mean harsh punishment and an adversarial relationship with your child. In fact, true discipline involves partnering with your child, understanding their stage of development, recognizing lagging skills and teaching your child the appropriate way to respond to situations. Together, we can create a discipline plan that is clear, consistent and actually brings you closer to your child.
Supporting children with mood or behavioral issues
Through parent coaching and quality time spent in play, children improve their confidence and trust in the parent-child relationship. The result is a child who is better able to control their emotions and solve problems on their own.
